About the role
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for clients, aligning with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Serve as a data governance expert, deploying tailored platforms like Collibra, Purview, OpenMetaData or equivalent.
Guide clients through data transformation, aligning governance with business strategies.
Drive a data-centric culture, bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders with strong communication.
Engage with diverse business units and IT departments to foster cohesive data governance solutions.
Ensure data quality, usability, security, and compliance across client data domains.
Develop data dictionaries, catalogs, and documentation with client teams.
Ensure client data initiatives comply with regulations and mitigate data risks effectively.
Do you have what it takes?
5+ years of experience in data governance, including consulting, senior or leadership roles, with expertise in platforms like OpenMetaData, Collibra, Purview or equivalent.
Proficiency in data governance, data quality, data management principles, standards, regulatory compliance, and data risk management.
Successful track record in implementing data transformation projects and integrating change managementinitiatives with data governance.
Strong communication skills to explain complex data concepts and coordinate with diverse teams, driving collaborative efforts.
Self-starting mentality, adept at identifying opportunities, formulating plans, leading projects, allocating resources, and guiding teams toward data governance milestones with clients.
Master’s degree in a data-related field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management), relevant certifications in data governance or management are advantageous.
Proficiency in Dutch is a must, proficiency in English is a strong plus.
